Grandma Vivi's Dictionary

This is a special project about my grandmother, Ivani, a 77-year-old woman who has always been involved with art. Everything she does involves art, and one of the best is the art of playing with words, inventing unique terms and expressions. For as long as I can remember, Grandma has been inventing words for her expressions, "Girl, you're going to get all 'despimbelada,' get down from there now!", "Eat everything, but be careful not to get 'empastchufada.'"

These words carry a special affection, that touch that only a grandmother knows how to add. That's why Grandma Vivi's Dictionary of Expressions was created — to immortalize these expressions and give our family a gift. It's an illustrated dictionary that celebrates both her words and her entire creative universe.
